If anybody want to know who killed the american car manufacturer, it was Motortrend, Road and Track, and every other car magazine. Several years ago Motortrend tested a Porsche 911 against a Corvette Z06. The Porsche cost 50,000 dollars more than the ‘Vette, and the ‘Vette won in every statistic, including the track time, skidpad, acceleration, braking, and fuel economy. The Porsche was declared to be the winner based on its “feel.” Keep your feel, isn’t the superior car in a race the fastest?
